JIM IS NON EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR

P.J. "Jim" Carr was born in Limerick in 1945. He graduated from the National University of Ireland Galway with degrees in Economics, Accounting and English.

He came to London in 1970 and worked initially for a city audit firm. In 1972 he joined the finance department with Burroughs (now Unisys). After a successful period in Burroughs UK he became Treasurer of Unisys Europe/Africa where he handled legal, tax and treasury and was also responsible for multi billion dollar annual hedging operations.

He had a successful career at Unisys and became Chairman of its International Pension Funds and head of investments, mergers and acquisitions. He was also Managing Director of Unisys N.V. and a founding fellow of the UK Corporate Treasurers Association. He left Unisys in 1995 to set up a series of private businesses and partnerships ranging from consulting to outdoor advertising forming a company along the way called JC Productions to launch the show business career of his son Jimmy.

He has been a Non Executive Director of many companies over the years and at present is Managing Director of Marketing Force Ltd and JC Productions Ltd.

In 1999 he helped, as a Non Executive Director, launch RDF, an IT Recuitment and Managed Services Company onto AIM and personally underwrote its initial share offering. He was Chairman of this company until 2008/09 and currently is Chairman of Stream Works Ltd an IT Solutions company.

Jim is married to Natasha and has three sons, Colin, Jimmy and Patrick, by his late wife Nora. He is keen on rugby, having played for UCG Garryowen, Young Munster, London Irish and Connaught. He plays golf and counts cinema and theatre as pastimes.
